We only got one shot but it was jam packed. She got the MMR/Chicken Pox vaccine. We learned that she could have a rash from the shots up to two weeks afterwards. Luckily we haven’t seen evidence of a rash.
Last Friday while fighting to put Samantha in her car seat (she’d been in it a lot!) mom saw another tooth. That will explain the crankiness and getting up in the night. It is the top left tooth which brings the total to five. It looks like we have another tooth bud so teething is in process again.Samantha continues to try to talk. She babbles and sings all the time. She attempts to say llama but it sounds more like mama. She says nana for banana and other things that we are picking up. She has also started to say “mmmmmmm” when she likes something she’s eating.
We went to the zoo for the first time recently. Samantha enjoyed seeing all of the animals but I think she liked the
petting zoo best. The goats and sheep were very friendly and so was the donkey. We’ll have to go back again soon so we can visit all of the animals again. We were so fortunate to have Uncle Paul, Aunt Jenney, Ellie and Dane come and stay with us. They were down here for a family graduation so we got to see them! The house was a bit chaotic most of the time (Ellie is 3 ½ and Dane is just 11 weeks younger than Samantha) and I gave up on house cleaning but everyone had a great time.
We were sure sad to see them leave Monday morning.
