Here are some other highlights since our last update...

• Blake has started to say, "Okay mommy" and "okay daddy."
• Samantha has had her second dentist appointment and got another good report.
• Blake got his first skinned knee on April 6th.  I'm afraid it will be the first of many!
• Samantha has started swimming lessons and loves them!  It's a parent/tot class and so we go with her (she generally picks Travis because he's a better swimmer she says).  She really looks forward to each one and has learned to put her face into the water if even briefly.
• We spent Easter with Travis's family at Kaylene's house.  She was as great hostess and the kids loved playing with her dog and seeing the newborn kittens.
• Blake can almost reach the peddles on the tricycle.  He still uses it despite the fact.  I thought it would help to add couple of blocks to the peddles but it appears he's still a bit too short.  Give him a couple of months and he'll be cruisin.
• Samantha has said, "You bet," "you're kidding me" and while talking to BeBe, "I'll let you go, I have to go play."
• Blake has finally started to use Samantha's name consistently.  He calls her Mantha.
• Samantha labeled our yard the dandelion factory.  She's right!
• Blake uses a lot of different voices to be silly.  He sometimes uses a little high pitched voice or he'll get a deep gruff voice.  It seems funny coming from such a little guy.
• Samantha has given up her night time pull-ups as of her birthday.  
• Blake has started to crawl out of his bed.  I don't think he could do it though if we moved the changing table.  Nonetheless, he appears in our room now instead of calling.
• We celebrated Samantha's birthday twice, once with Renfro grandparents on her actual birthday and then a week later with the Britain grandparents.  She was very patient at waiting until it was time to open her presents and she was very excited.  I believe it was the first time she was super excited about it and understood it.  She was sure because because she got to celebrate twice she was five.  We reassured her that's not the way it works.  The first weekend she picked to have Ariel as her theme and second weekend she picked Clifford (her first choice).  She is really enjoying all of her gifts.
