One Sunday about a month ago Blake started complaining about his eye hurting him.  The more the day went on, the more it hurt, especially while we were about our neighbor's birthday party.  In the afternoon his eye started to turn red and swell up.

I decided to take him to the urgent care.  There they put a dye into his eye and with a black light we learned that he had a very large scratch on the bottom of his left eye.  The doctor prescribed antibiotic drops four times a day for five days and a follow-up visit with his pediatrician.

We went to our pediatrician on Monday and I was amazed and how much his eye had already healed itself.  God is amazing!  Samantha came along and brought her purse with stuff to do.  Once the nurse left and we were waiting for the doctor Samantha told me that she had brought along the Tylenol just in case he needed it.  I thought it was very thoughtful of her.

We did the antibiotics for the prescribed time and he appears to be back to normal.  We are thankful that it healed so quickly.
