It's become an annual event to attend the Lousiburg Cider Fest.  The kids asked to go this year so we headed visited it once again.  Face painting and apple cider slushes are the highlight of our trip.  We enjoyed wonderful weather and watching the apple cider process.  The kids got their faces painted and got to go down an inflated slide.

The next weekend we attend the Apple Fest in Weston, MO.  Again, it was a beautiful day to be outside so we walked around and looked at the booths then took the kids to the part designed especially for kids.  They played on the playground a bit then they chose to ride the ponies.  They each had picked out the pony to ride but after the second time around Blake was switched because it was a bit smaller and on a larger horse.  It upset him terribly that he didn't get to ride on the horse he chose and broke down crying as soon as he got off.  He has such a tender heart that many things affect him.
