First, Grandma came to celebrate with him the weekend before his birthday. We went to Shawnee West for supper per his request then came home and had cake and ice cream. He then got to open the presents from Grandma and Grandpa.
On Blake's actual birthday he went to story time at the library then we met Travis for lunch. He could pick any place he wanted to eat and he chose Taco Bell. After that we went to Midland for their monthly JumpStart story time. We brought cupcakes and the entire story time was about his birthday. It was so sweet of them!
That evening he got to open gifts from us.
Thursday of his birthday week we went to BeBe and Papa's so he got another celebration. BeBe planned a penguin themed party for him, complete with a penguin cake. He loved the cake and more presents!
