Much has been going on since our last post.  Here are a few things.

1.  We've gone swimming with friends in their neighborhood pool.

2.  We've taken bike rides alone and with friends.  We've also visited parks to play at.

3.  Blake has said, "Look mom, I'm a professional." and "Yuummmmm, this is scrumptious!"

4.  While leaving school one day Samantha was commenting on how Logan was leaving.  She continued to say, "All Logans are handsome."

5.  We've spent a bit of time in Wichita in the hospital with Travis's mom as she was diagnosed with a tumor on her back and had to have it removed immediately.  My mom came and spent some time with the kids while I went back to Wichita to help out.

6.  Samantha started Adventures at Church and Blake will start Eager Beavers soon.

7.  We made a trip to Great Bend, this time staying with Travis' Aunt and Uncle.  The kids were so spoiled with movies, ice cream and machines to ride.

8.  We were invited to JoAnna and Julia's house for supper one Sabbath evening.  It was great to visit with their family and another couple and roast marshmallows.

9.  I've had several appointments so Blake has spent quite a bit of time with his new friend Jillian and loved every minute of it. Finally a friend his age!

10.  Blake has started going to story time at the library and Ernie Miller Nature Center again.

11.  Samantha has started spelling tests and memory verse tests.  She's also started to learn her math facts.  We are so proud on how well she's done.  She's aced all of tests so far!

12.  Samantha has started to spell things and write things.  She often gets words right, but often she spells them phonetically.

13.  I conducted a storytime at Midland with a theme of Apples.  Blake helped me with the story time and craft.
