Travis and I went to Boston for his annual meetings.  We really hadn't made many plans before going except we knew we wanted to go to a Red Sox game.  While there we decided to take a trolly around the city that hit all of the highlights.  We did that Thursday and the weather was beautiful.  Sabbath, our other free day we went on a student-led tour of Harvard.

I was thrilled to spend to spend my first free day with my friends, the Berthelsen family.  Their kids joined them this year and I hadn't seen them in years.  I had such a wonderful time with them touring the city and seeing many of the sights.

My second free day I spent in the hotel room reading relaxing.  I also took advantage and got a manicure and pedicure. The weather was quite rainy and chilly so it was a good excuse to stay in!

Huge props to my mom who came and watched the kids.  My dad also came for the weekend but had to go back home right away Sunday morning.  We couldn't have asked for better grandparents!

At the original ticket entrance.  Fenway Park is over 100 years old!

Let's play ball!

Beautiful architecture in the northern part of Boston.

We saw many historical things.

Rode the subway.

Harvard!

The inspiration fo the Cheers TV show.

I picked up some yummy treats like these beautiful cupcakes.
We toured the USS Constitution.
