Blake turned five on March 6th. He was so excited for his birthday but didn't want a big party.
He invited his friend Jillian over for the day. I took them to Ernie Miller Nature Center for a preschool program and on the way home we picked up pizza's that the kids could make and bake per his request. They just played the rest of the afternoon.
That evening he had requested wild rice, fr-chik soup so we had that and lentil soup. Grandpa and our neighbors Joe and Gloria joined us for supper and cake and ice cream.
Blake was very gracious with his gifts and was thinking he was all done when we took him to the garage and asked him to help us find the other one. We had gotten him a new, bigger bike and had hidden in a huge box.
He was thrilled with all of his gifts and of course, had to take the bike for a spin that evening.
