The little one probably weighs about 4 lbs and is nearly 19 inches long if it were able to stretch out. No wonder I’m starting to feel quite pregnant! I can’t complain, I’ve been feeling great with some little nuisances. It’s great to have a supportive husband who understands when I’m not feeling up to par or if I just feel like resting. Lately, I’ve had to ask Travis to slow down a bit when walking – every once in a while my sciatic nerve starts to act up.
We learned last night that after having pizza with friends one of them got into her car and said, “finally, Heidi is starting to look pregnant.”
Travis has been working on a video that we can “produce” once the little one gets here. We have been taking weekly pictures of my ever expanding belly since week 10. It’s fun even now to go back and see what I looked like when I was “skinny.” He is going to take those pictures, along with ultrasound pictures and our ultrasound video to make a DVD for our families. Thanks to our friend Dale for putting the video onto a DVD for us to put into the computer. We’ve found the perfect music to go along with it so all we need now is the baby video.
Although we haven’t gotten serious about it, we have started to talk about who we’re going to call, what we’re taking to the hospital and other things. Oh yeah, every once in a while we talk that we need to decide on a girls name just in case.
We finally made our last big purchase today with getting a car seat and stroller (thanks to some help from the Renfro parents!). Yes, we decided to get a combo unit. Thank goodness you are able to "try them out" in the store as it helped us make our decision!
