Week 39

Yes, week 39 and still no baby. I think our friends and family our more on edge than Travis and I are. We just keep plugging away with life as usual until the little one gets here.

Last Monday I was still 2 centimeters dilated but I was 100% effaced and a +1 station (the baby is moving lower and lower). I think that if I had wanted to, my doctor would have induced me last week. I am really not a big fan of induction so am hoping to hold out until the baby comes naturally. I do have another appointment this afternoon that should shed some more light as to where we are headed from here.

Friday was my last day of work and the employees had gathered together to give us some money for the little one and also a round of cupcakes. It was very sweet of them and I promised to bring the baby back for everyone to see.

So, today is my first day of relaxation. I have taken advantage of it and didn't get into the shower until noon (Did I just admit that???). I am afraid that if I don't have this baby soon I'll go crazy from being so bored so I'm trying to spread my activities or things I could so over a few day.
