10 Weeks Old

We realized how much Samantha has grown when we went and visited our friends Tom and Deanna and their new little boy, Preston. Preston weighed the same as Samantha when she was born and we were amazed at how small he looked. Because we are around her all the time it's easy not notice how much she's actually grown.

We found out today exactly how much she has grown - she had her 2 month appointment today. I was amazed to learn that she weighs 11 lbs, 13 oz and is 23 inches long!!! No wonder she has started to get heavy to carry! She is in the 75% in both her height and weight so although she is a large baby for her age she is proporational.

While there we received 4 shots. Ugh. She started to cry just when they started to prep her leg so she was screaming by the time it was all over. I was close to tears myself but we survived. I'm not sure her Dad would have, he has a soft heart for her.
