9 Weeks Old

What a trooper our little girl is! We were gone from home for over 12 hours on Sabbath. We spent the the majority of the day at Cloudland Canyon with our Sabbath School group. We left directly from there to meet Travis' friend Lee whom he met while in school in Kansas. Lee has finished his PhD in Marine Biology and is moving to Corpus Cristi with his family to teach at Texas A & M. When we got home we were all ready for a bath and bed!

Samantha got her first bath in the "big" bathtub with her Dad. She continues to love the water and relaxes when she gets into it. This week she has also discovered her mobile and enjoys listening to it and watching it. In fact, we went to pick her up the other day and she cried so we put her right down again under her mobile and she was fine.

She has really mellowed out (or maybe her mom has) and is pure joy to spend time with. I love it that I can finally tell when she's tired or hungry. It makes mothering a lot easier!
