Last Sabbath Blake started to wave. He waved to me on Sabbath and then has waved several times since. One morning he waved to Travis after he closed the door. It's still very sporadic but I know he can:)
On Tuesday he started to throw a ball. It's still quite inconsistent whether it ends up in front of him, beside him or behind him but he is enjoying it. He also likes to roll the ball between us.
Blake's appetite has come back to. He is back to enjoying more solids and feeling himself. This week he's eating avocado's, bananas, tofu, Cheryls' burgers, hash browns, rice casserole, Spanish rice and Little Links.
Last Thursday started library story time for Samantha again. With Blake being sick I asked Miss Gloria to come and watch Blake. She is our good friend Cheryl's mom. I was a bit nervous leaving him just because he's been quite attached lately but he didn't cry one bit and she even got him to sleep when I wasn't expecting him to take a nap! It went so well that I've asked him to come every Thursday so that Samantha and I can have some special time together and Blake can get used to having a babysitter occasionally. I look forward to spending the time with Samantha because we rarely get mom and daughter time.
Samantha realized that in a couple of months she'll be three. She has mastered putting up three fingers and tells us often that she's going to be three. She can also show us two and four and thinks it's great.
We had a full weekend with friends and we spent some time outside enjoying the gorgeous weather. It makes us look forward to Spring even more!
Samantha LOVES to cook and bake. She asks me every other day to bake something. Here we splurged and licked off the spatula from a yummy frosting.

Blake really enjoys getting his teeth brushed...

Random shots...

We've started to call Blake "Houdini in the Highchair" because every time you put him in there it isn't long and he's twisted himself around and into a standing position...
