Last week we didn't have a car so it was a different week for us. My car had gotten a bit of damage from a recent wind storm and it had to have some auto body work done on it. I was a bit worried how it would go but it was kind of nice. We didn't have the rush of the mornings to get some where and we my house stayed clean. We took lots of walks and did a deeper clean on several rooms.

Dad took Samantha out with him a couple of evenings for errands so she was able to get out of the house. He really spoiled her this week and she enjoyed the extra time with dad.

Blake is really doing so much right now. He has learned to blow so one evening I took him out in our front lawn where there are lots of dandelions. He started to try to blow them and then I chased him around. He loves to be chased and then tickled.

He is also starting to understand us. Samantha and I had something that had to go into the trash and he took it from us and put it in there for us. When I say that it's time to change his diaper he will head to the bedroom.

Our little guy also LOVES the phone. He picks up my phone all of the time and if he seems someone else's he will pick it up to. One day I "lost" my phone several times and I had to put it up very high so we wouldn't get to it.

He also really likes yogurt. If the refrigerator is open he will jump at the chance to grab a yogurt out of there and proceed to poke a hole into it so that he can eat it.

Samantha is really becoming a big helper around the house. I can ask her to do something for me and she can do it. She is also learning how to put her dishes in the sink when she's done, put her clothes in the hamper, etc. She loves to help fold the laundry and has learned how to fold the wash cloths.

We spent this weekend with friends. Friday night started off on a great foot with Tracy and Cheryl. Cheryl's parents, Bill and Gloria joined us and Gloria spent quite a bit of time reading books and playing with Samantha.

Sabbath we spent and afternoon with Alex, Maddie and their families. We also have a great time with them and Maddie's dad got out a little sprinkler for the kids to run through. They loved it!

Today Kathryn and her parents joined us for Cracker Barrel and then we went to see Thomas the Train. We got to see him up a close and Samantha was thrilled. She also loved the tattoo she got and that she got to play with the trains. It was a fun day!

Many of you already know the BIG news in our house is that we're moving to Kansas City, KS. We are thrilled for the opportunity to move closer to family and it's the only reason we jumped at this opportunity. The move will be extremely difficult in the fact that we will be moving so far away from friends (Samantha said that she will cry and I'm sure I will to), but we knew we were going to have to move somewhere. We don't have a timeline yet but we know the move will be soon. In the mean time we are trying to prepare for our move and spend as much time with friends as possible.

Looks like everyone is having a great time and Blake is getting ready to be a KC Chief. What a blessing it will be to have you all so much closer.
