1st Day of School

The first day of school had finally come for Samantha.  She was so excited but had the edge of nervousness.  I assured her that nervousness was expected because she didn't know everything.  She was especially worried about the rules and dealing with mean kids.

We all were up early the first day of school.  Travis made a big breakfast for Samantha so she'd have a great breakfast so start off her day.  I packed her lunchbox and made sure she had all of her supplies and we were off.

Dropping her off was kind of hectic because Ms. Wallace already had the kids sitting and talking with them so we helped Samantha get her backpack hooked and we said goodbye.  She knew several of the other kids in class and had met Ms. Wallace before so she was fine.

After we dropped off Samantha Travis took Blake and I out for breakfast.  I think Blake enjoyed the special treatment.  After breakfast Blake and I ran errands in the rain and before we knew it, it was time to pick up Samantha because her first day was only a half day.
