The NASCAR race in Kansas City is about 15 minutes from our house.  The Friday before the race the cars practice and qualify for a much cheaper price than the actual race.  Travis wanted to spend the day out there so he picked up Blake around noon and headed out to the track.  

I picked up Samantha from school and ran a couple of errands before we went out.  We got to see the Sprint Cup series qualify for their race, with even a crash.

It was a chilly day but we enjoyed the experience anyways.
