Travis was given some tickets to a Royals game and it just happened to that it was on Samantha's birthday.  It was a late game but we decided since it was a special day we'd go ahead and go.  Wouldn't you know, the weather was quite nasty and rainy but it benefitted us because they let us move to seats wherever we could find them.  

We got great seats and once Travis took the kids very close to the dug out to see everything up a bit closer.

Grandpa was in town for Samantha's birthday so he joined us and we invited Joe and Gloria to join us as well.

Samantha, Blake and Travis all got on the big screen so I'd say the game was a big success despite the rain!
