We headed to Great Bend the first weekend in May.  It was the first time the kids and I had been there since Linda had passed away.

Of course, the first thing we did when we got in town was go to Victory Barbershop so the guys could get the best haircuts around from Dave.  It's a tradition that every time we go to Great Bend they get their hair cut.

After haircuts we took Willard out to eat and then we went to Cheryl and Jimmy's.  We had arranged to stay with them for the weekend.

Sabbath morning we took it easy and played around.  Around lunch time Uncle Jim and Vicki came over for a BBQ and lunch.  We had a nice time visiting with them and catching up.

Of course, during the weekend the kids had to ride the battery operated toys (they couldn't wait!).  Travis took out Jimmy's old yellow truck (with lots of history) for a couple of rides and the kids got a ride on the motorcycle.

Sunday morning we got up and went out to lunch with Willard at the Highland Manor.

On our way out of town we stopped by Linda's grave as the kids and I wanted to see it.  We all miss her so much!
