In the meantime, I took the kids to Bass Pro Shop for their annual visit with Santa. They loved playing around and riding the carousel.
It was finally time to decorate the tree. We decided that we should use our "traditional" ornaments this year and the kids loved decorating it.
I, once again worked on our annual Christmas card and letter.
Blake finished up a soccer session with Coach Mike. We loved Coach Mike but Blake was outplaying all of the other kids so we decided this would be our last session with him.
After many practices, the kids an in our church's annual Cantata. Samantha even had solo part and did wonderfully!
Soon it was Christmas break and the kids enjoyed spending time together.
We made our annual trip to Crown Center where we watched them make fudge.
And we played in the outdoor wooden toys.
It even warmed up enough a day in December where we could play baseball outside.
I pulled out my Silhouette and worked on making Christmas treats for Samantha's class.
The kids made a fort under Blake's bed and spent a couple of nights there.
I fell in love with this sent from Bath & Body. It smelt like Christmas tree all the time!
Blake continued to wear flip flops even though there was snow on the ground. I learned that he does it because he has to cross his toes.
Samantha's school went rollerskating on the last day of school. Blake and I joined her for the morning.
There is actually proof I put on skates.
We went to Great Bend and Hays for the Renfro/Churchill Christmas. On the way back from Hays to Great Bend Saturday night we ran into this and head to shovel out before we could head home.
Poor Samantha got sick while in Great Bend and it wiped her out as evidenced here.
We attended a Christmas Eve service at a nearby church.
And ran to Travis' work so he could check on some things.
That night we let the kids open up their stocks.
And Christmas morning brought lots of gifts...
After Christmas BeBe and Papa came to celebrate with us. The kids loved their gifts!
My mom and I got in some after Christmas sales...
And Papa helped Samantha with some word problems.
They continued to love and play with their pets.
And even slept in a few days.
They enjoyed some times with friends...
and each other.
