I know it's been a while since I've blogged. It seems we've been extremely busy.
We got home from the Britain Grandparents on Wednesday, July 25th. Again, Samantha did great on the flight but the shuttle was really long again and not so fun. Samantha had fallen asleep but then woke up too early from a nap. Oh well, what can you do? We appreciate our friend Aimee picking us up from the shuttle as dad was working.
The weekend we got back I helped host a baby shower and then we went to a birthday party the same afternoon. The birthday party was nice because it was at the zoo. Samantha enjoyed petting the rabbit and ferret. The monkeys came right up to the glass and all the kids backed away except Samantha. She just stood there and watched. She also made a monkey sound for the first time.
Dad had gotten some comp days so decided to take those last week to work on our spec house. I think we maybe saw him less last week then when he's working but we saw him often for short periods of time as we took him many meals
Poor Samantha has really been fighting her molars. She barely eats anything, is drooling and is unhappy quite frequently. We'll be glad when they are in!
We're crossing our fingers that this will be a bit quieter week for us!
