A Late Blog

Well, knock on wood, Samantha is finished with her “hunger strike”. She just wasn’t eating anything it seemed. I had even resorted to feeding her baby food. At Sabbath’s potluck she started eating again. I am so thankful. We’ve had three good meals today.

Our little girl continues to pick things up. The last couple of week’s I’ve blinked my eyes at her real fast just to play with her. She thought it was really funny and now she blinks her eyes back. You can tell it’s real deliberate but so cute!

She’s also found other things she likes to do like flushing the toilet, throwing her diapers away and helping Dad make his coffee. Dad’s coffee maker has so many buttons to push!

She’s also picked up a couple of new words that are right up my alley. She now says “ice cream” and “french fry”. As you can tell, we’ve introduced her to the finer things in life.

As many of you have heard, Dad is working the night shift. We have had lots of errands to run for our house so we try to get up and run those in the mornings. This morning we were able to swing by the mall and play on their playground.

What? No mention that it was Samantha's mom's birthday? Hope it was a happy one.
