Busy Still

It seems our life hasn't slowed down any like we thought it might. Samantha and I have been spending a lot of time outside. She absolutely loves to be outside, especially playing on the swingset in the yard. She climbs to the top of the tower and wants to throw rocks down through the slats. Eventually she'll slide down the slide and want to do it all over again. We've collected rocks, pine cones, acorns and sticks to put in her little bucket. I think collecting these things helps her remember what they all are.

Our little girl is doing much better at a couple of things. She never stayed in the cart when shopping and I was really frustated every time we went. I finally told Travis that I wasn't going without him. He's gone along ever since to keep her sitting down. Tonight I tackled the grocery store by myself and she sat the entire time. What an accomplishment. Samantha also has learned to stay put during church too.

I've mentioned before that Samantha has learned to climb onto her changing table. She knows that after a bath it's time for a diaper and pajamas. Tonight after her bath I reminded her it was time to get her diaper on. The next thing I know she's in her room climbing onto her changing table and laying down. I thought it was adorable!
