I'm doing a quick early blog this week because we won't have internet service over the weekend and at least until Tuesday.
As mentioned last week, we're moving this week so it's been a very busy week for us. It's gone well though. We've had a ton of people offer to help but we just didn't need it except for the big stuff we're moving tomorrow (Friday) and a HUGE thanks to Tracy for helping us with that. I've already started settling in the house and practically have the kitchen settled. We would like to thank Christy and Mindi for the food they brought!!! It was very thoughtful.
I've had a stash of pacifiers (binki's) hidden away for emergency purposes in our bathroom. Travis was packing the bathroom last Saturday night and put them all in a ziplock bag on the top of a box. Well, Samantha came into the bathroom and saw them and practically screamed "BINKI!!!". She must have surely thought she had hit the jackpot. That evening she carried all 5 of them with her. We're still trying to round them all up!
New Year's Eve proved to be a long night for Samantha. We were invited to Kathryn's parents for supper and it was yummy. After that Tracy and Cheryl invited us to their party so we stopped by for just a bit. We were sure that Samantha would fall asleep between the two places but she turned out to be quite the Energizer bunny and stayed awake until 11:30. We really paid for it the next day but I think we all had a great time.
Samantha appears to be doing pretty good with our move. She doesn't like it when we pack her things up but we try to do it while she's asleep so she doesn't get bothered with it.
The baby continues to be doing good I'm thinking. I am not nearly as tired as I was a couple of weeks ago and isn't quite as active as I remember Samantha being. My next appointment is on Monday so we will know for sure. It is the beginning of having appointments every 2 weeks.
